The UNO Women's Center, Women's & Gender Studies Faculty, Department of Anthropology & Sociology, and the Diversity Engagement Center invite you to join us for a talk by activist, researcher, artist and UNO alumna Shana M. griffin, ‘Examining the Political Economy of Reproductive Violence: Interrogating Social Policies and the Violence of Disposability.’  Ms. griffin's research centers the experiences of black women's vulnerability to violence, poverty, incarceration, environmental pollution, economic exploitation and housing discrimination.
