Help us help those that may need some joy this holiday season. Please donate food for distribution by Second Harvest Food Bank. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off in any of the boxes located in college offices and at convenient locations around campus.

November 1 to December 18, 2013

There will be two main pick-up dates:



November 25 for Thanksgiving, & December 18 for the Holidays

  • Suggested food items:
  • Dairy: boxed shelf-stable milk, evaporated milk, dry milk
  • Fruits & Vegetables: apple sauce, canned fruits in juices, canned vegetables, shelf-stable 100% juice, spaghetti sauce without meat, dried fruit
  • Proteins: canned pork & beans, dry beans, canned soup or stew, canned tuna, canned chili, canned chicken, nuts, peanut butter
  • Grains: cereal, rice, pasta, crackers, healthy snacks
  • Non-glass containers preferredUpdate & Return

Note: Monetary donations may be made directly to Second Harvest Food Bank Greater New Orleans and Acadiana at http://no-hunger.org
