November 11th through the 15th is International Education Week, an annual event hosted by the Division of International Education that highlights and celebrates the opportunities that students have to study abroad or branch out and learn about other cultures in an education setting at the University of New Orleans. Several events will take place during the week:

International Opportunities Fair, Library Breezeway, 10:00 am — 2:00 pm

Tuesday, November 12th
Study Abroad Cultural Café, The Cove, 12:15 pm — 1:30 pm
UNO Study Abroad gives you the chance to take classes all over the world! Come see what each program has to offer and sample international desserts. Sponsored by Division of International Education and Diversity Affairs.
Wednesday, November 13th
Lunchtalk with Marty Mullins, Ph.D. Liberal Arts Lounge, 12:30 pm — 1:30 pm
This talk examines the unique ethnic, religious and class elements distinctly present in Košice and eastern Slovakia during the 1945-48 consolidation of Communism, the 1968 Prague Spring liberalization period and the 1989 collapse of the regime. This event is hosted by Center Austria.
Career Workshop: The Benefits of International Experiences for Your Career

Learn from Career Services Director, Martha Barnes, how time abroad could be used for career planning including building your resume, CV, interview skills and much more! Refreshments provided.
Study Abroad Opportunities for Adult Students, Atchafalaya Room (UC 208), 6:00 pm — 8:00 pm
A panel of adult students along with members from the Division of International Education and the Office of Financial Aid will share important information and answer students’ questions about studying abroad and ways to make it affordable.
